We’ve only been with Medical Transcribers, II for a short while but the quality of content far surpasses our previous service. The staff is knowledgeable in what they do and have been crucial in the setup and support right from the start. The turnaround time is amazing and they go the extra distance by being proactive with our staff, by communicating on a daily basis if needed.

Julie responds almost immediately to any questions/concerns not only on the phone but in person. My experience with Julie Shorey and Judy Pomeroy dates back to at least six years ago. I was working at Mount Desert Island Hospital (MDIH) in Bar Harbor, Maine. MDIH is a small rural hospital on an island, not the type of facility that attracts medical transcriptionists. In addition, the transcription portion of the HIT program at the local technical college had been dropped so there was a shortage of trained staff in the community. Whatever transcription talent there was in the region was more likely to apply for employment at the tertiary care facility approx. 30 miles away. Hence, I found myself needing a helping hand to handle the threefold increase of ER reports generated from July - September. Julie and Judy had introduced themselves to me through the MEHIMA meetings/exhibits. Their service was excellent and I never regretted the decision. They provided the technology expertise to make the project work. Eventually we expanded their role to include transcription for seven (7) physician practices based within the MDIH organization. They stuck to their pricing, offered top of the line QA and worked continually at meeting the ever changing needs of the organization.
I switched to Medical Transcribers in December and that was the best move we ever could have made. We get our reports faxed directly to the ordering doctors usually within a 1-2 hour window. We feel that this service has helped us to improve our patient care greatly. Everyone is very helpful if there is a question or problem and have it solved/fixed that day, the next day at the latest. I would strongly recommend Medical Transcribers to anyone who needs a transcription service. I can't say enough good about all of them.
